The 19th century, the century when Sherlock Holmes was created was an era of great inventions. In this project you're going to learn something about them...
Choose one of the INVENTIONS OF THE 19th century and explain it to your classmates ( in pairs).

In this project you have to make your own poster board to show to the class and also a Google Docs document.
The poster must be visual so that your friends learn about your invention easily.
Upload your Google document in GOOGLE CLASSROOM with the following information:
-A title. Write the names of the people in your group, your course and class.
-Index. Mention what you are going to talk about.
- Inventor. Who invented it? Write some information about him/her (his life and career, for example)
- Your invention. Talk about it as you answer these questions:
- Why was it created?
- Different parts of the invention
- The most important information about it
- Explain how it changed society
- Something important about the time when it was invented:
- the country where it was invented
- who was the Queen, King or President at the time?
- Was the country in the middle of a war or was it a peaceful
time?
- Mention the most important events in that century in that
country.

Talk about its evolution:
How has it evolved?
Does it still exist today?
Is it still useful? Why?
